Study Details
This clinical research study is designed for individuals diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA), a condition characterized by joint inflammation often associated with psoriasis. The trial evaluates the effectiveness and safety of adding a new, investigational oral medication to a standard care regimen that includes Methotrexate. The primary goal is to assess whether this combination approach can more effectively reduce the underlying inflammation responsible for PsA symptoms like joint pain, stiffness, and swelling.
Participation is open to adult men and women aged 18 and older who have a confirmed diagnosis of Psoriatic Arthritis. As this study involves a combination therapy, participants must either be currently taking Methotrexate or be willing to take it as prescribed by the study doctor as part of their standard care throughout the trial. This allows researchers to specifically evaluate the added benefit of the novel oral treatment when used alongside established therapy.
